What are your qualifications to write copy for our company?

I have been a freelance copywriter & marketing and brand consultant for the past 7 years. I also have an MBA degree in Contemporary Marketing from Australia, and a certification from American Writers & Artists Inc. in B2B Copywriting. Do you have a background in training or coaching? 

At one point in my career, I aspired to be a life coach. This led me to consume tons of content in the field of coaching and personal development. Rest assured I have spent hours and hours learning from the best in the industry, like Tony Robbins, Vishen Lakhiani, Lisa Nichols, T Harv Eker, and more. I’ve attended immersive trainings, including the 5-day life-coaching event by Tony Robbins called Unleash The Power Within. I have also read numerous books and attended trainings in the fields of networking, confidence building, power of subconscious mind, and the likes of it. Additionally, I have also worked closely with a friend and assisted her in developing training modules for her book on conquering all the 12 areas of life. So when I write copy for you, you can be sure of the fact that your message will be communicated in the most effective way to your clients.

What kind of assignments do you handle? 

I write copy for websites, landing pages, blogs, sales letters, emails, ads, case studies, whitepapers, e-books, and brochures. If there’s anything else apart from these you want written, I can help with those too. In case you’re looking for an entire content strategy bundle, I can help you with quality content at affordable rates. If you don’t have an in-house design team, the designer I work with can help you with designing the collaterals for the content I develop.

How many iterations are allowed per project?

Just tell me what you want improved, and I’ll make them for you – at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Two rounds of revisions are included at my expense in the fee we agree upon. The only condition is that if you want revisions, please make sure it’s within 30 days of your receipt of the copy. This is provided the brief remains the same of course. If there is a complete change in direction, it will be considered as a new project, but due discounts will be given.

How long will you take to deliver the output?

That depends on two factors – The number of projects I have in the pipeline, and what your deadlines are. Also, the amount of time taken to write a particular piece depends on what the collateral is. For example, a sales letter may taken just 2 days to write, whereas a whitepaper may take up to 3 weeks.  So when you get in touch with me, one of the first things I’ll ask you is by when you need the copy to be written. Depending on my bandwidth, I will either commit to the deadline, or request for an extension if possible. If I take on the job, it’s my guarantee that you will receive the copy, usually without any need for revision by the deadline, if not sooner. 

What’s the benefit of hiring a freelance copywriter like you and not a marketing agency?

Let me start by saying – I love marketing agencies. They are some of my best clients.  However, if you’re primarily looking only for copy (and not design, logos, packaging, etc.), you’ll probably save a lot by coming directly to me.

This is because firms usually have higher overheads, and they account for that in the rates they quote you. In my case, I work from home, so my overheads are really minimal. This way I will be able to provide you with the best rates, without compromising on quality.

Plus, most agencies don’t have in-house copywriters. They outsource it to specialists like me. So really, like I mentioned before, it’ll save you a lot more time and money if you come directly to me.

Why should I hire you over other freelance copywriters?

Apart from my qualifications which I have mentioned in the previous points, I also bring in business acumen into the copy. It won’t be a blind brief-execute-deliver kind of relationship. I get really invested in the success of the clients I work with, and go that extra mile to do the research and additional work I need, to ensure that my clients are not only satisfied, but delighted.

What are your payment terms?

Once we agree upon a rate, I take 50% of the payment upfront. This is an advance, so that I can get started on the project. The remaining 50% is paid upon receiving the final draft of the copy within the deadline. The payment has to be done through PayPal.
